We understand that there can be emotions running when we start to manage the clearing out of a lifetime of gathering possessions for any family member involved.
This rings especially true if we are involved with a family or a Power of Attorney (POA) in assisting with Seniors in helping them downsize or be moved to an assisted living apartment.
We have experienced this first-hand as family members with our own parents first downsizing and then further moves later going into assisted living homes.
It’s probably why we expanded our design business into this unique niche. We wanted to offer our hugs and support and guidance, not just logistics, while we help the family sort through life’s treasures and keepsakes to make sense and order, as well as to create coziness and happiness, good design, and organization in the new home.
We not only understand, we can empathize with our clients on the difficulty of accepting the culling of home contents and furniture while either clearing out a home completely, or making the needed preparation decisions to move to a much smaller home or apartment.
Purging a lifetime of collected “treasures” we know is tough, and particularly difficult without professional assistance. Especially when significantly down-sizing or going into assisted living apartments.
But we offer our caring guidance and knowledgeable planning expertise to assure a smooth move, through participating in or completely looking after the clearance of the unneeded and unfittable furnishings, decor, and home items prior to the downsizing moving dates.
